Belgian guard Retin Obasohan has signed a deal for next season with ASVEL per Eurohoops sources. The 29-years old guard spent last season in Israel with Hapoel Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the club announced that guard Amine Noua has returned on the team by signing a contract for the 2022-23 season. Noua previously played for the team from 2015 to 2021.

Per EuroLeague:

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has strengthened its backcourt by inking power forward Amine Noua to a one-year deal, the club announced on Thursday. Noua (2.03 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Strasbourg, where he averaged 14.6 points on 40.0% three-point shooting and 3.8 rebounds in nine French League games last season. He started the 2021-22 campaign with MoraBanc Andorra, averaging 6.0 points in 13 7DAYS EuroCup games before joining Strasbourg. It was his first – and, so far, only – season away from ASVEL.

Nous joined ASVEL in 2012 and played for the club’s U16, U18, U19 and U21 squads before making his first-team debut in the 2015-16 season. He helped ASVEL win both the French League and the French Cup in both 2019 and 2021. He has also been a member of the French national team. Noua helped France win a bronze medal at the 2017 U20 European Championship, averaging 12.9 points and 7.9 rebounds in 7 games. “It is a great pleasure to come back home! I thank Tony [Parker] and Gaetan [Muller] for once again giving me the opportunity to shine with the club of my heart,” Noua said after the agreement. “I can’t wait to go back to the Astroballe, to see our supporters, to play in the EuroLeague… And to win more titles with LDLC ASVEL!”
