Nikola Milutinov’s name has been linked to several teams during the offseason, though he cleared out the air Sunday, during his visit to the Greek island of Syros for the AegeanBall Festival, hosted by Georgios Printezis.
“I still have a contract with CSKA for next season and that’s the way things are,” he stated while speaking at COSMOTE TV about the rumors of him joining teams outside Russia, namely Olympiacos. “We will see what happens in the future”.
Milutinov joined Efes‘ Vasilije Micic alongside Greek national team legends for the big event in Syros, and also shared his thoughts about his participation.
“It’s my first time here and I am very happy,” he said. “I wanted to honor Giorgos [Printezis] who retired and it’s very nice. He is one of the greatest legends of European basketball. He was the first with which I shared a room. Everyone knows who he is. I wanted to honor him both as a friend and as a teammate.”
