Crvena Zvezda announced Tuesday they have penned guard/forward John Holland to a deal for the 2022-23 season.
Holland, 33, spent the previous season between UNICS Kazan and Frutti Extra Bursaspor and reached the EuroCup final with the latter.
He reinforced Bursaspor’s efforts with 11.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across 8 EuroCup games, while he posted 14.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in five Turkish BSL games.
This will mark the former Cleveland Cavaliers player’s first experience in Serbia, while he will also make his EuroLeague return after fleeing UNICS in March 2022. He is the third signing of the club during the offseason, following Nemanja Nedovic and Hassan Martin earlier in July.
