Dzanan Musa is officially the newest member of Real Madrid after signing a two-year contract.
Per the press release: “Real Madrid CF has reached an agreement with Dzanan Musa, a forward from Río Breogán. The player is linked to the club for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2024”.
The Bosnian mega-scorer comes from a superb season in the Spanish ACB League with CB Breogan, during which he averaged 20.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists and was named MVP, even though his team didn’t make the playoffs.
Musa completed his obligations with the Bosnian national team in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers in a triumphant fashion, by hitting the winning basket that sent his country to the next stage of the tournament.
So far in the offseason, Real has extended the contract of captain Sergio Llull while parting ways with forward, Jeff Taylor, forward Trey Thompkins and guard Thomas Heurtel. The club is expected to bring back veteran star guard Sergio Rodriguez and also keep guard Fabien Causeur.
