Giorgos Kalaitzakis is back in Europe after his run in the NBA by returning to Panathinaikos Athens, as the Greek club announced.
Kalaitzakis, 23, was a free agent after finishing the 2021-22 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 17.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals with the team in four games of the NBA regular season.
Before joining the Thunder, Kalaitzakis also played in nine games with the Milwaukee Bucks, having 1.8 points in 5.3 minutes.
By returning to Panathinaikos, Kalaitzakis will also rejoin his twin brother Panagiotis since the latter signed a three-year contract with the Greek powerhouse earlier this offseason.
