Maccabi Tel Aviv re-signs Jake Cohen

Maccabi Tel Aviv re-signed forward Jake Cohen for the 2021-22 season, the Israeli club announced. This will be the second straight and seventh season overall for Cohen with the Maccabi jersey.

Cohen, 31, averaged 7.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists for Maccabi in 26 games of the 2021-22 Israeli Winner League. The American-Israeli big man participated in 13 EuroLeague matches and notched 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7:18 minutes.

Apart from Maccabi Tel Aviv, Cohen has also played for Aris Thessaloniki, Maccabi Ashdod and Obradoiro.

Maccabi has been one of the most active teams in the market, signing eight new players: guards Lorenzo Brown, Wade Baldwin, and Austin Hollins, wing Darrun Hilliard, forward Bonzie Colson, forward Jarell Martin, and big men Alex Poythress and Josh Nebo. The Yellows also brought back former captain Guy Pnini from Hapoel Holon.
