Panathinaikos Athens signed guard Lefteris Bochorides to a one-year contract extension, the Greek club announced. Bochorides will play with the Greens for a third straight season and fifth overall in his career.
“I’m very happy that I stayed with Panathinaikos,” Bochorides said per the club. “I’ve been with the team for many years and I’ve bonded with it. I wanted to stay so much, especially after last year’s tough season, so that we can bring Panathinaikos back where it belongs.”
Bochorides, 28, had 2.1 points and 1.3 assists in the 2021-22 EuroLeague, plus 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in the Greek League.
