Sasha Vezenkov, Zalgiris‘ Kevarius Hayes – who will face each other this week – and Derrick Williams from the substitutes, compensated us in the first week of EuroLeague fantasy action.
So we continue undeterred and bet this time on the (first) good game of Marius Grigonis, who had been on a short slump during the last few official games of Panathinaikos. We believe his time has come.
It is clear that Marius Grigonis has not found his footing with the Greens and showed only some “flashes” in the recent Greek League game against Aris.
But that’s exactly why we’re betting on him. His price at the moment in the “fantasy market” is low, 9.0 points, so it won’t hurt us to add him to our team in his third official game with his new team in the Greek League and the EuroLeague combined.
Grigonis is a player with undeniable offensive talent and his presence on the court for Panathinaikos is the key for the Greens. The opponent of the Greens will be Red Star in Belgrade – the former team of coach Dejan Radonić – and certainly, their mission presents great difficulties.
However, Grigonis can have a good game, and considering the likely absence of Derrick Williams, the Lithuanian will get more possessionσ than in previous games in which the American power forward was Panathinaikos’ leading scorer.
GIORGOS BARTZOKAS IS OUR COACH
We will pick Giorgos Bartzokas as our coach for this week. Olympiacos is undefeated in all competitions, Zalgiris cannot scare them in their home court (even if it is empty due to the Greeks’ punishment from the Final Four) and we think it is an excellent option for all of you, without costing a lot.
We will also recommend Tarik Black since Joel Boloboi is injured, but also Ben Bedil who had a very low price (8.6 points) and has a big role in the rotation of Zvezda.
Join us and compete in Euroleague Fantasy. The winner of our league will win a signed jersey at the end of the season.
Here’s the team we have chosen for this matchday, with quite “cheap” options such as Lekavicius (who has a tradition of good games with Olympiakos), Andjusic, and hot Billy Baron.
