Enes Kanter is visiting Greece, collaborated with former Basketball Champions League champions AEK BC on a camp for young refugees, and also talked to the Greek national television about the refugees’ issue and the political situation in the region.
The 30-years old former NBA player wearing a jersey that had both the Greek and the Turkish flag and written in Greece the message “we are family”, also talked about the possibility of playing basketball in Europe.
As he said, this can happen only for Panathinaikos: “I have informed all the teams in Europe, don’t call, don’t text me, there’s only one team in which I would play and that’s Panathinaikos“.
It has to be noted that Panathinaikos is indeed in the market for a big man, however, the club has advanced talks with Jake Layman.
