Real Madrid will face Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Round 5 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with injured Fabien Causeur out of action and Adam Hanga available.
“We have decided that Causeur will take a break because he has been dragging discomfort in a tendon in his knee and plantar fasciitis in the other leg. In anticipation of someone being injured after the effort that the players are making without having much rotation, and with such a tight schedule, we have preferred to shut him down. Let’s see how the situation with him evolves”, Real Madrid coach Chus Mateo said.
He confirmed that Hanga is ready for his season debut, after a leg injury. Mateo also added that Nigel Williams-Goss is still sidelined, but he is on a good course to be back with the team soon.
“Williams-Goss is coming into the team. He has been outside for a long time and is improving little by little. He is not going to play tomorrow. Hanga’s recovery progressed very well and he will probably take part in tomorrow’s game”, Mateo elaborated.
