After the great start to the season, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (4-1) will meet Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (3-2) at Fernando Buesa Arena without Jarell Martin in Round 6 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, as reported by Moshe Barda.
The American power forward played in all of the previous five games, scoring 4,6 points on average.
The good news for Maccabi is that Darrun Hilliard might return to the court, after playing only in the first round before the injury.
“He is not at his best, but he is fit and should get minutes”, head coach Oded Kattash said about Hilliard’s possible return.
Maccabi grabbed all four EuroLeague victories at home while losing to Fenerbahce in the only away game.
“This is a test for our intensity and concentration. We got a little spoiled with the excess of these home games and we are meeting a quality, well-trained, and offensively dangerous team”, Kattash added.
