EuroLeague Fantasy: Laprovittola… come forth

By Dimitris Minaretzis/ info@eurohoops.net

This week we trust in-form Nicolas Laprovittola.

He is Barcelona’s top player so far in rating, scoring, and assists and we think it is a good opportunity to include him in our team, creating an Argentinian duo with Luca Vildoza.

Barcelona will face Maccabi in Tel Aviv, certainly a difficult game, probably a low-tempo one that does not favor fantasy points.

However, Laprovittola is active in at least two areas of the game (scoring and passing), has the ball in his hands, and is in good shape on top of that. Plus, he’s currently relatively cheap (10.3 units), so it won’t hurt us at all to put him on our roster and keep a strong bench with Dwayne Bacon, Hassan Martin and Vanja Marinkovic bought at good prices.

PAPAPETROU AND ANDJUSIC FROM PARTIZAN

Partizan travels to Athens again, this time to face Olympiakos.

Zeljko Obradovic’s side is dealing with a lot of injury problems, which we want to exploit in Fantasy.

Kevin Punter, Zach LeDay, and Mathias Lessort are having great seasons but they are expensive. Of course, we recommend them if you have enough credits available.

But we would advise a look at Ioannis Papapetrou and Danilo Andjusic since Zeljko’s options are no more than 8-9 players and they will logically get enough playing time in Pireus.

They cost relatively little “money” (8.9 the Greek forward, 8.0 the Serbian guard), and if you want to fill your roster, whether on the bench or in the first formation, we think that at least one of the two will produce good numbers.
