Real Madrid’s Yabusele suffered a knee sprain

Bad news for Real Madrid. Guerschon Yabusele is out, because of a sprain of the lateral ligament of his right knee, pending evolution, as the club announced.

The French national team player was injured during the win against Anadolu Efes in Round 7 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

He scored 11 points, and added two rebounds in 15 minutes, but got injured after the break. Yabusele tried to come back but played only 30 seconds in the last moments of the third period.

The power forward joins Rudy Fernandez, Carlos Alocen, Anthony Randolph, and Nigel Williams-Goss on the injury list.

The 26-year-old player is scoring 8,7 points per game in the EuroLeague, and 13,2 in the ACB League this season.

Real Madrid sits in fourth place in the Spanish championship with a 5-2 score, while the victory over the defending champions was their fourth in the EuroLeague (4-3).
