After Sam Van Rossom’s knee injury that will force him to be out for several months after being operated on, Valencia decided to call back one of its loan players to temporarily replace the Belgian playmaker.

As announced by the Spanish club, “Valencia Basket and Melilla Sport Capital Club Melilla Baloncesto have reached an agreement to finalize the loan of the young point guard, Guillem Ferrando, from Benifairó de la Valldigna, so that with immediate effect, he joins the Valencia Basket first team”.

The 20-year-old, who debuted with Valencia in the 2020-21 season, was averaging 9.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4 assists per game in LEB Oro with Melilla. He’s now set to spend some important minutes in the EuroLeague with Alex Mumbru’s team.
