According to Movistar’s Pilar Casado, Gabriel Deck will not travel with Real Madrid first to Munich and then to Kaunas, missing the EuroLeague double week against Bayern and Zalgiris.
The Argentinian forward apparently has muscle overload in two areas of the quadriceps. Therefore, Real Madrid’s medical staff wants to preserve him, without risking his recovery.
Gabriel Deck, who played with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2021-22 NBA season, rejoined forces with the Spanish club before the end of last season.
He’s averaging 12.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in the 2022-23 EuroLeague, shooting 59.5% inside the area and 90% at the charity stripe.
