Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s center Semi Ojeleye got injured during the last week’s game against Olympiacos, and he will be out of action for for about four weeks, as club announced.
He was running back on defense and made a slight jump when he got injured. Ojeleye went straight to the locker room and hasn’t returned, as he played only four minutes against the Piraeus team.
This season former Boston Celtic center is averaging 9,4 points, 3,8 rebounds, with an average PIR of 10, over 11 EuroLeague appearances, and is a part of Euroleague’s Top 10 high-impact newcomers list made by Eurohoops.
After 12 games upon returning to the EuroLeague after 14 years of absence, Virtus has a 4-8 record, the same as Partizan, Bayern, and Asvel.
