In Round 13 of the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, ASVEL found the upset 77-75 win thanks to Amine Noua’s three-point buzzer-beater.
Nando De Colo helped his team by scoring 13 points and adding 4 assists and 4 steals while making history.
The former CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce legendary player entered the 4000 points club, becoming only the third player in EuroLeague history to score that amount of points.
De Colo (4002 points) is now trailing Vassilis Spanoulis (4455 points) and Juan Carlos Navarro (4152).
The 2015-16 EuroLeague MVP spoke about reaching this milestone after the win. “4000 points is a great achievement but it is more than scoring points. Like I say, I just try to do the best for the team, and tonight, with the victory, it is even better”, he said.
In his first season with the French team, he’s averaging 13.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, shooting 45.6% 2FG, 53.3% 3FG, and 89.2% FT, dragging ASVEL to a 5-8 record in the EuroLeague.
