According to Robert Heusel from BIG – Basketball in Deutschland, Ismael Kamagate emerged as one of ALBA Berlin’s main objects of interest for the next EuroLeague season.
The 21-year-old center was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 46th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, before being traded first to the Portland Trail Blazers and then to the Denver Nuggets, which have his rights.
He has been shining with Paris Basketball in the 2022-23 7DAYS EuroCup, averaging 10.1 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game, shooting with incredible percentages: 87.5% from two and 90% at the charity stripe.
Thanks to his monstrous performance against Hamburg Towers, where he recorded a double-double of 12 points and 19 rebounds, while also having 4 blocks, he was named the EuroCup Round 6 MVP.
