Jordan Loyd will be out again for three weeks

After breaking his nose in the EuroLeague clash against Real Madrid, undergoing nasal bone surgery to resolve his displacement, and coming back to the court against Milan, Jordan Loyd has suffered another injury.

Being put in the starting five by Sasa Obradovic in the game against the Italian powerhouse, the former Valencia and Crvena Zvezda player left the court after only 1:04 minutes.

Now, AS Monaco announced he will miss some weeks of action once again. “In Milan, Jordan Loyd made his appearance for the first time on the court since his nose fracture contracted on 8 December. But the American rear was injured again, hit in the shoulder. He’s on the flank for the next three weeks”, the press release says.

This could also explain AS Monaco’s interest in Tyler Dorsey, who has been recently released by the Dallas Mavericks. The Monegasque team offered 1.25 millions for the rest of the season to the Greek shooting guard.

Jordan Loyd, who played with Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2021-22, has been averaging 11.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in the current EuroLeague.
