Dinamo Banco Di Sardigna Sassari finished the first half by leading 37-36 on the road against Unicaja Malaga. However, the Spaniards just couldn’t be denied and got the easy 80-62 win.
The second half started with a 19-2 run, Unicaja had a 60-44 lead at the end of the third quarter and a 20 points advantage (75-55) for most of the second half. Four players scored in double digits with Richard Hendrix being the top scorer with 19 points, Marquez Haynes finished the game with 18 points for Sassari, had a great first half, but couldn’t keep it going in the second.
Unicaja finished the game with a tremendous 43-22 advantage in the rebounds, which translated to 12 more possessions for the hosts. This difference made the job of the guests practically a mission impossible.
