Unprecedented hype surrounding Crvena Zvezda is at an all-time high before round 16 of the Euroleague. Barcelona is coming to Belgrade.
However, the news that Facundo Campazzo will not be able to help the red and whites in this match is a disappointment. Namely, Crvena Zvezda failed to lift the ban on the registration of new players by the Euroleague, which was adopted at the beginning of December.
The guest of RTS was sports director of Crvena Zvezda Nemanja Vasiljevic, who revealed that the champion of Serbia did everything necessary to lift the suspension, but:
“We have a temporary ban on the registration of players for the Euroleague, we did everything that was asked of us, and everything that had to be paid – was paid. We are waiting for the final answer from the Euroleague because they are on a Christmas and New Year break. I believe that this will be resolved in the coming days“, said Vasiljevic.
