Two key members of Valencia, big man Jasiel Rivero and guard Jared Harper will return to action after four weeks as the club officially announced.
It’s a huge blow for Valencia during a very crucial month in the season, however, the club is already on the market hunting for a guard.
Per the press release: Power forward Jasiel Rivero had to leave the court in the final moments of Sunday’s game at the Cazoo Baskonia’s court after injuring his right knee. The tests to which the player has been subjected have revealed that he suffers a sprain in that knee and a recovery time of about four weeks is estimated.
Point guard Jared Harper was unable to play last Sunday’s game due to muscular discomfort in his right thigh. The imaging tests he underwent yesterday on his return to Valencia have revealed that the American playmaker suffered a muscle tear in his right leg quadriceps in the game on Friday, January 6, against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade. A recovery period of about four weeks is estimated to be necessary.
