Moving on from Galatasaray Nef, explosive point guard Dee Bost joined LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
Bost, 33, signed a contract for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, the team announced Monday on the heels of the recent report on the American-born naturalized Bulgarian returning to France and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
“We were looking to strengthen the team for many weeks but were waiting for the best opportunity. Dee has the ideal profile, a perfect knowledge of the league, experience at the European level, a leadership spirit, and a contagious thirst for winning,” commented team president and legendary retired player Tony Parker.
So far this season, the Mississippi State alumni averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per Basketball Champions League contest powering the Lions to a berth in the Round of 16. Switching back to EuroLeague, he carries the experience of 39 games played between Khimki Moscow Region in 2018-19, Zalgiris in 2017-18, and Stelmet Zielona Gora in 2015-16.
