On October 15, 2022, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv signed guard Jalen Adams to a three-month contract. After he showed as a quality reinforcement, the Israeli club decided to keep him until the end of the season, per an official statement.
The 27-year-old guard made 17 appearances for Maccabi in the Euroleague, averaging 6,2 points per game.
Former Hapoel Jerusalem player had a more prominent role in the domestic league, with an average of 12,2 points in 10 played games in the Winner League.
The former UConn student started his European adventure with Chalons-Remis in France and exploded in the 2021-22 season with Hapoel, scoring 17,8 points in the Basketball Champions League.
His performances from the previous season recommended him to Maccabi, who first signed him as a temporary replacement for injured Darrun Hilliard. Still, he was a valuable asset to Oded Katash, and the Tel Aviv team decided to keep him.
