In Round 19 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Partizan Mozzart Bet got a comfortable 83-65 win over Cazoo Baskoia at Stark Arena. Still, for no apparent reason, one fan spat on the referee during the game.
For that, Partizan decided to ban him for life from attending the club’s home games and initiated the procedure of filing a lawsuit.
The club shared his pictures on social media and the video of the incident, adding that they will now claim damages for the Euroleague fine of 5,000 euros, plus additional costs, from the perpetrator.
“Partizan initiated the procedure of filing a lawsuit against the person with initials S.G. who spat at the referee during the match Partizan Mozzart Bet – Baskonia, which can be seen in the attached video.
The police legitimized S.G.’s face, and he is now banned for life from entering the hall wherever Partizan Mozzart Bet plays as host.
As you can see in the video, S.G. did this act unprovoked during the convincing lead of Partizan and without any doubts about the referees’ decision.
The club will claim damages from the perpetrator through the courts for the Euroleague fine of 5,000 euros, plus additional costs.
WE MUST TOGETHER STAND IN THE WAY OF THE RIOTERS IN OUR HALLS!” Partizan Mozzart Bet wrote on Instagram.
