Crvena Zvezda suffered two losses in a row during its away double-game EuroLeague week in Italy, first against Virtus Bologna and then at the hands of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. But a group of red-and-white ultras decided to prolong their staying until the weekend.
According to the Italian online journal Il Post, in fact, after the football game played on Saturday night between AS Roma and Empoli, some Crvena Zvezda ultras, dressed in black and armed with wooden sticks, attacked the fans of the home side in the Italian capital.
Apparently, the attackers belonged to the “Delije” group, which means “Heroes” in Serb, one of the ultra-violent fans of Europe, allied to the ultras of Naples. This is probably the reason why they decided to attack the AS Roma ultras, who are enemies with the Napolitan side.
The AS Roma ultras belonged to the “Fedayn” group and were less numerous. The Serbian stole bags with banners, which is considered a sort of war booty in the ultras world. The clashes have been recorded and shared by a Czech page.
