Nemanja Bjelica is finally getting closer to his debut in Fenerbahce. The Serbian trained with the team the entire week but he will not play against Partizan tonight in Belgrade.

Bjelica has suffered a calf injury and has not played a single minute this season as he got back to Fenerbahce after spending years in the NBA.

Bjelica signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA in 2015. He played for the Timberwolves for three seasons before signing with the Sacramento Kings in 2018. In 2021, Bjelica was traded to the Miami Heat.

He has also represented the Serbian national team, winning a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

With 14 wins and 9 losses, Fenerbahce is currently in the number five spot in the EuroLeague standings. Partizan has one win less and is currently 6th.
