The time has finally come: Nemanja Bjelica could mark his 2022-23 EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahce against Virtus Bologna on March 3 for the Round 26 of the Regular Season.
In the latest update by the Turkish team on its official website, in fact, they say that “Fenerbahce Beko has no players with injury problems”. Therefore, the Serbian power forward could finally be available, if Dimitris Itoudis wants to count on him against the Italian team.
In his first EuroLeague run with Baskonia and Fenerbahce, he averaged 9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game shooting 56.6% from two over the course of five seasons.
The 34-year-old superstar won the 2022 NBA Championship with the Golden State Warriors but got his calf injured once he got back to Turkey and hasn’t debuted yet this season for Fenerbahce, which is currently 4th in the EuroLeague standings with a 15-9 record.
