Last week, Valencia head coach Alex Mumbrú spoke about the imminent return of Martin Hermannsson following his long-term injury suffered at the end of last season.
Facing Real Madrid in the EuroLeague Round 28, an important game for the playoff race, Valencia will also have the 28-year-old former ALBA Berlin player available.
Valencia is currently 11th in the standings with a 13-14 record, fighting for a playoff spot, and will face last year’s EuroLeague runner-up on March 9 at 20:45 CET on the road.
Before suffering the torn ACL in his left knee, the Icelandic point guard was averaging 8.6 points and 5.2 assists per game, shooting 48.1% from two, 43.9% from three, and 96% at the charity stripe in the 2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup.
He played his last Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game with Valencia on the 19th of March 2021 against Khimki, coming off the bench and delivering 5 points and 8 assists.
