During the ABA League loss to Partizan Mozzart Bet, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet lost Nemanja Nedovic and Ognjen Dobric to injuries. Still, they might return to the court against Cazoo Baskonia on Thursday.
Nedovic felt discomfort in his hamstring playing versus Panathinaikos almost two weeks ago, he tried to play in the Belgrade derby but couldn’t make it after the first half.
Dobric also got injured during the first half of the game with Partizan and missed the games against Barcelona in the EuroLeague and SC Derby in the ABA League, the same as Nedovic.
The captain Branko Lazic, who last played against Alba in late February, is still out.
“I think Nedovic and Dobric will be able to play. As for Lazic, it’s week by week. We’ll see when he can help,” Crvena Zvezda‘s head coach Dusko Ivanovic said.
After returning to Crvena Zvezda, Nedovic is averaging 14,2 points and 3,2 assists per game in the EuroLeague. Ognjen Dobric is also an important piece of Dusko Ivanovic’s team, averaging 8,9 points and 2,7 rebounds.
Crvena Zvezda has a 12-17 record in the EuroLeague, with a slim chance of making it to the playoffs. Baskonia has three victories more and is in a good spot to find its place in the Top 8 after the regular season.
