During the Copa del Rey Quarter-Finals victory by Real Madrid against Valencia, Sergio Llull injured himself, but now the Spanish leader has given an update on his recovery, which is almost ended.
In a video on Twitter, the 35-year-old talked about his knee injury. “It is a rupture of the internal ligament of the left knee no surgical intervention was necessary. The recovery is estimated more or less in 8 weeks off. I already had 5 weeks and a half, so in about two or three I’ll be again with the team to help in the most crucial part of the season”, he said.
“The first three weeks were very important because I had to go with crutches to fix the ligament. An injury is never welcomed, but luckily it has not been anything serious. In three weeks I’ll finish the season in the best possible way and we will try to get more trophies. So let’s go for it. Thank you all very much for your support and I send you a very strong hug”, Sergio Llull added.
Pasadas ya más de cinco semanas desde mi lesión en la Copa, os dejo una pequeña explicación sobre el proceso y la propia lesión 😉💪🏽
Gracias por el apoyo!
