In the EuroLeague Round 34, Marko Guduric went close to sealing the deal against Crvena Zvezda to give the victory to Fenerbahce, but couldn’t make it. The Turkish team lost, but thanks to the Olympiacos‘ win against Baskonia, they still booked their ticket for the postseason.
Following the loss, he discussed that shot. “I thought it was going in. I felt good, the shot had the direction and everything, but I was already thinking that I shouldn’t be happy. It wasn’t easy. Luckily, Olympiacos won and we made it to the playoffs and we’re waiting for our opponent”, he commented on the almost game-winner.
After the game, he also spoke with the media about potentially coming back to Belgrade. “I signed a contract with Fenerbahce a month ago. It’s always nice to hear something like that, everyone knows that I love Crvena Zvezda. I want to come back one day, we’ll see when that happens”, he said before choosing Olympiacos as the team to face in the playoffs.
The 28-year-old guard, who has been averaging 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game with Fenerbahce this season, started his career back in 2013 with Crvena Zvezda.
