The EuroLeague regular season is over and we are now entering the playoffs. As every year, this year too, the amounts that will be shared by the first 14 teams through the Sports Pool were announced. We are talking about 21% of the total revenue, with the remaining 79% corresponding to the Market Pool.
Understandably, Olympiacos can get the most money, depending on their final position. In case Olympiacos is eliminated in the playoffs, it will take fifth place in the final ranking of the season.
This year there is no victory bonus as in previous years.
The final rewards ranking will be determined only after the Final Four games are over in May, and only the rewards for 9th to 14th places can be certain after the regular season.
So we now know, Baskonia gets 469.173 euros, Crvena Zvezda 410.526, Anadolu Efes 351.880, Olimpia Milano 293.233, Valencia 234.586, and Virtus will get 175.940. The bottom four teams do not get rewards, so Bayern, ALBA, Panathinaikos, and ASVEL don’t get any money.
As for the top eight teams like Olympiacos, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Monaco, Maccabi, Partizan, Zalgiris, and Fenerbahce, we will have to wait until the Final Four games are over.
