The EuroLeague Playoffs are only a few hours away, and tonight will mark the beginning of the most crucial part of the season in the first European competition. Ahead of the several Game 1s which will be played in Monaco, Madrid, Barcelona, and Pireaus, here is the official injury report.
AS Monaco vs Maccabi Tel Aviv
Chima Moneke hasn’t played in the EuroLeague since Round 31, while Jordan Loyd missed the last game of the Regular Season. However, as officially announced by the Monegasque side, they will both be available for Sasa Obradovic at the beginning of the Playoffs.
After suffering a broken hand in December 2022 and being absent since EuroLeague Round 11, Alex Poythress is finally back for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Oded Kattash won’t have Jalen Adams, who last played in Round 26, due to shoulder surgery, and Austin Hollins, who has not played since Round 21 due to a knee injury.
Real Madrid vs Partizan Belgrade
Chus Mateo won’t have Vincent Poirier, who is still recovering from appendicitis and won’t step on the court against Partizan at least in Game 1, and Carlos Alocen, who is out indefinitely due to a knee injury. After being out of action in the EuroLeague since Round 23, Sergio Llull is now available. Nigel Williams-Goss will follow the Spanish legend after missing the last seven EuroLeague games.
The guests coached by Zeljko Obradovic shouldn’t have any injury issues other than Balsa Koprivica, who has been out indefinitely since this year’s EuroLeague Round 6 with mononucleosis.
FC Barcelona vs Zalgiris Kaunas
After not playing against Gran Canaria in the latest ACB Round, Alex Abrines, Nikola Kalinic, and Cory Higgins should be available for the Catalan side against Zalgiris.
The Lithuanian team, as known, won’t have its superstar Keenan Evans, who has been out since the beginning of 2023 after suffering an Achilles injury. Tyler Cavanaugh and Liutauras Lelevicius won’t be available as well.
Olympiacos vs Fenerbahce
The Greek powerhouse, which ended the Regular Season on top of the standings, will have its full roster available. As far as Fenerbahce, instead, it will be a game-time decision for Scottie Wilbekin, Marko Guduric, and Metecan Birsen. Nemanja Bjelica, Devin Booker, and Samet Geyik won’t be available.
