Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz is still one of the hottest teams in Europe and proved it without mercy against EA7 Emporio Armani Milano. The final score (94-82) speaks for itself as the hosts have a 4-2 record.

From the get go and a 28-19 lead after the first quarter it was obvious who was in control. Fabien Causer scored 15 points during the first half which ended with the hosts having a 52-37 advantage, The Italians couldn’t react and with a 1-5 record their Top16 chances are already really slim. It’s ironic that Stanko Barac, who was rumored to be on his way out, led Milan with 16 points and 12 rebounds for the biggest duration of the game.

The guests cut the lead of Baskonia to 9 points (73-64) thanks to a 10-1 run during the first two minutes of the last quarter, but couldn’t get any closer. Alessandro Gentile scored 24 points, many of them in the last quarter, however it was too late.

From the winning side Causer finished the game with 22 points, Darius Adams added 20, Mike Jame had 18 points, while Giannis Bourousis finished the game with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
