Olympiacos will face Fenerbahce on Wednesday for the decisive do-or-die Game 5 of their best-of-five series, to book a ticket to the EuroLeague Final Four in Kaunas. However, Georgios Bartzokas didn’t have his full roster available for today’s training.
Kostas Papanikolaou, in fact, missed practice due to a virus, and his presence in Game 5 remains unclear at the moment. He will be re-evaluated in the next 24 hours.
The red-and-white captain, who will turn 33 in July, has been averaging 8.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in this year’s EuroLeague, with his numbers decreasing in the series against Fenerbahce. Against the Turkish team, he has been averaging 4.2 points and 3.0 boards per game.
