And of course, he is none other than Olympiakos’ Sasha Vezenkov.
Almost unanimous
The 28-year-old Bulgarian power forward swept the Eurohoops MVP of the Year voting. He collected 23 of the 24 votes and 95.8% of them.
After all, he is not just any player on the team that had the best record in the regular season (24-10) and also qualified for the Final Four, but also the player who was also the league’s leading scorer while being second in rebounding and leading also in PIR.

The “lost” vote
The unanimous vote was spoiled by Mike James, who collected one and the remaining 4.2%. The 33-year-old American point guard has played a leading role in Monaco’s run to fourth place in the regular season (21-13) and qualification to the Final Four (3-2 over Maccabi Tel Aviv), being sixth in points, 11th in assists and ninth in PIR.
