While Mike James was talking on a variety of topics in the mixed zone, coach Sasa Obradovic was asked about James’ quotes to “Basketnews” about him needing to have the ball more in his hands.
Coach Obradovic had already reacted, saying that he might have not seen the same game.
Asked again on the subject, Obradovic said in a dubious tone: “We must be grateful for what Mike James is doing for us for the last two years. We should be grateful, each of us.”
“We won the game and that was the most important,” Obradovic answered a question about the length of Matthew Strazel’s participation in the game.
“We talk about rotations, etc. We should talk about appreciation of the coach,” he immediately went on turning the question around, “I didn’t even get close to being Coach of the Year. How can you explain this? With all respect for each coach. It’s because I am Serbian?”
