Olympiacos Piraeus is interested in bringing back center Nikola Milutinov. While the Reds’ interest is ongoing, so far there’s no offer for the Serbian big man who’s becoming a free agent upon expiration of his contract with CSKA Moscow.
Milutinov, 28, played for Olympiacos for five years, emerging as one of the most dominant centers in EuroLeague before joining CSKA as a free agent in 2020. Now he may not continue with the Russian powerhouse since he also looks to come back to the EuroLeague stage.
A potential acquisition of Milutinov by Olympiacos will push the Greek side to pay a generous sum in order to sign him. The player has also been offered to Italian side Virtus Bologna.
In his last season in EuroLeague, Milutinov posted 7.7 points and 6.5 rebounds in 16 games before CSKA exited the competition due to the war in Ukraine.
