Olympiacos Piraeus made their first offer to Nikola Milutinov, who is in Greece for holidays. The two-year contract is on the table, and talks are ongoing, but no deal has been made yet, by Eurohoops sources.
The offer presented by the Greek giant to the Serbian center is up to 1.4 million euros per season.
Milutinov has been in Athens for the last few days and has met with some of his former teammates, including Sasha Vezenkov and Georgios Printezis.
As previously reported, Olympiacos showed interest in bringing the Serbian big man back, who’s becoming a free agent upon the expiration of his contract with CSKA Moscow.
There is moderate optimism in the ranks of the European runners-ups and a new contact between the two sides is expected in the next few days.

Milutinov started his professional career with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia, where he played from 2011 to 2015. During his time with Partizan, he showcased his potential and attracted the attention of various European clubs. In 2015, he signed with Olympiacos Piraeus, a Greek basketball team competing in the EuroLeague.
Milutinov played for five years for Olympiacos and emerged as one of the most dominant EuroLeague centers. With the Piraeus team, he won the championship in 2016 and reached the Euroleague final in 2017.
The 28-year-old joined CSKA as a free agent in 2020 and won the VTB United League MVP for the 2022-23 season.
In his last season in EuroLeague, Milutinov posted 7.7 points and 6.5 rebounds in 16 games before CSKA exited the competition due to the war in Ukraine.
It has to be noted that for Olympiacos, there’s also the priority of extending the contract of Kostas Sloukas who will be a free agent this summer. Talks have already started and the Greek guard is informed about the club’s intentions.
