Following the successful first edition, the ELPA Performance International Congress, EPIC, is back for a second edition focusing on performance and injuries reduction strategies.
Additional information, including registration details and the complete schedule, was confirmed by the EuroLeague Players Association Tuesday.
With athletes and coaches expected to attend, multiple doctors set as speakers, and more guests, the congress will be held in Technogym Village, in Cesena, Italy. Technogym is the Official Training Partner of EPIC 2023.
Per the press release: “The second edition of ELPA Performance International Congress (EPIC) will take place on July 1st in Technogym Village, the exquisite facility in Cesena (Italy), and online.
Strength & conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, doctors, assistant coaches, athletes, students and all others interested are invited to participate at the second edition of EPIC, which will be led by experts from the areas of training, recovery, rehabilitation, performance management, psychology and nutrition. ELPA’s entire Performance Advisory Board and other renowned guests will present innovative solutions from their field of work and add to the chosen topic of the congress.
This year’s congress will be titled “Performance and injuries reduction strategies: a systemic and transversal approach”.
All on-site attendees will have free access to Technogym’s state of the art fitness gym and enjoy the tour of the Technogym Village, including company’s headquarters and their research and development center.”
The first ELPA Performance International Congress was held online on 29 May 2021. Several performance areas were covered through eight EPIC sessions.
