Panathinaikos announces the return of Slovenian Sani Becirovic to the club in the position of Technical Director.
Sani Becirovic was born in Maribor, Slovenia on 19/5/1981 and this will be his third term at Panathinaikos.
During 2006-2008 he wore the green jersey as an athlete, winning a Euroleague trophy (2007), two Greek League championship titles, and the same number of Greek Cups (2007, 2008).
In 2015 he retired as a player and returned to Panathinaikos as Team Manager under coach Sasa Djordjevic.
From 2019 to 2023 he was the sports director at Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. His return to Athens was already agreed since March.
