Fenerbahce Beko announced that big man Kostas Antetokounmpo won’t continue with the club. Antetokounmpo had signed a contract for the rest of the 2022-23 back in December.
During the six months he spent with Fener, Antetokounmpo averaged 2.7 points in 6:32 minutes over 14 games in EuroLeague. The 25-year-old forward/center played in three games in the Turkish BSL League, posting 7.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 17.7 minutes.
Kostas Antetokounpo, the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, started the season with the Chicago Bulls on a two-way contract. He played for the Windy City Bulls in the G League before parting ways with the organization a few days before officially joining Fener.
In 2020, Antetokounmpo won an NBA championship as a player of the Los Angeles Lakers.
