The quality gap between FC Barcelona Lassa and Stelmet Zielona Gora was evident, even with the Catalans being the guests. That’s why the final 93-64 for Barca was not a surpise for anyone.
On the contrary it was a form of revenge, as Barcelona suffered at home in order to get the win against the Polish champions, however since then many things have changed. Simply put the winners couldn’t be denied while shooting 17/25 threes, an incredible 65,38% efficiency. Alex Abrines with 16 points led Barcelona and the duo of Aleksandar Vezenkov and Carlos Arroyo added 15 points each. Juan Carlos Navarro and Shane Lawal missed the game due to injuries.
Mateusz Ponitka had 11 points for the hosts, who trailed by nine points at half time (44-35), but couldn’t keep up in the second half. The partial score wad 49-29 for Barcelona which cruised to the win. Zielona Gora had just 3/17 threes and this difference in shooting is pretty much the story of the game. Barcelona leads Group C with a 6-1 record, while Zielona Gora at 1-6 is already thinking about the Eurocup Last32.
