Anadolu Efes has further bolstered its roster with the official announcement of Dogus Ozdemiroglu’s arrival. The Turkish player has signed a two-year contract with the team.
Ozdemiroglu had an good season with Darussafaka in the Basketball Super League, averaging 14,6 points, 4,8 rebounds, and 6,4 assists.
The 27-year-old began his professional career with Darussafaka and had loan spells at Acibadem Universitesi, Bahcesehir Koleji, and Yesilgiresun. However, he has been a regular member of Darussafaka’s first team since 2017.
Following the appointment of coach Erden Can to replace Ergin Ataman, the Turkish champions have been active in the transfer market. They have also signed BSL MVP Tyrique Jones from Turk Telekom and secured a new deal with Rodrigue Beaubois. Additionally, Elijah Bryant has announced his intention to stay in Istanbul. Derek Willis also agreed on a two-year deal with the club.
On the departure front, several players have left the team, including Chris Singleton, Egehan Arna, Bugrahan Tuncer, Furkan Haltali, and longtime captain Dogus Balbay, who ended his 12-year association with Anadolu Efes.
