Fenerbahce BEKO has presented its offer to Kostas Sloukas and next week may end up being crucial for the Greek free-agent point guard.
Sloukas is one of the most coveted names in the market with point guards being a commodity, his name is also discussed in Barcelona and there are rumors connecting his also with Milan and Partizan.
However, the only team that has so far presented an official offer to the player is Fenerbahce. Per Eurohoops sources, while Fenerbahce is cautiously optimistic nothing is decided yet.
On the contrary, everything seems to be open and Sloukas will not take any decision in a rush. On the contrary, he is expected to meet next week with Olympiacos, which also wants him back on what may be even the last contract of his career.
The 33-years old player was part of Olympiacos‘ EuroLeague triumphs in 2012 and 2013, but in 2015, he moved to Fenerbahce, winning the EuroLeague title in 2017. This year, he made it again to the EuroLeague Final with Olympiacos, having one of his best seasons.
It has to be noted that the Greek website ApexSports also mentioned Barcelona and Fenerbahce as the main rivals of Olympiacos for Sloukas’ signature.
