A familiar face returning along with a Fenerbahce Beko teammate looks promising for FC Bayern Munich.
Devin Booker and Carsen Edwards are both in advanced talks with the Munich outfit, according to Eurohoops sources.
Besides hiring experienced tactician Pablo Laso, committing to Danko Brankovic and Nelson Weidemann returning from loan to take a spot in the senior squad shaped the first offseason moves. More additions are expected with the longtime Real Madrid boss hoping to bounce back in style after the controversial departure from the Whites and sitting out the 2022-23 season.

Booker, 32, spent three seasons with Bayern, from 2016 to 2019, introducing himself to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague at the bottom end of the stint. Combined with the last two seasons as a member of the team based in Istanbul and the two-year spell at Khimki Moscow Region, he became a veteran of 119 games in Europe’s premier club continental competition.
Wrapping up the two-year contract with Fener, the Clemson product averaged 5.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 blocks, and 0.4 steals per contest over 43 appearances between the EuroLeague and Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi through the 2022-23 campaign.
Edwards, 25, put in 9.9 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per contest in the continental and domestic leagues. The 2022-23 season was his first experience overseas, following 75 games played in the NBA between the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons. Coming out of Purdue, he was selected with the 33rd overall pick of the 2019 draft.
