Today, Kostas Sloukas and Olympiacos met to discuss the future of the 33-year-old experienced Greek point guard with the red-and-white side, but the meeting ended without a final decision on the matter.
After coming back to Piraeus in 2020 following five successful years with Fenerbahce, Kostas Sloukas is now undecided between sticking with Georgios Bartzokas’ team to try chasing the EuroLeague title once again or leaving Olympiacos for the third time in his career.
Following the meeting, the former Aris and Fenerbahce playmaker expressed his feelings. “There is mutual respect and a constructive discussion took place. No decision was made and obviously, there will be another meeting”, Kostas Sloukas said.
In the 2022-23 season, the Greek international averaged 11.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game in 36 appearances starting from the bench, helping his team reach the Final Four in Kaunas. However, Olympiacos couldn’t make it in the Final against Real Madrid.
