A second newcomer for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in the form of Boris Dallo.
Dallo, 29, penned a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Following up on Mbaye Ndiaye emerging as the first summer signing for the French club, the experienced combo guard carries experience from the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with 22 appearances as a member of Partizan in the 2013-14 season. Besides joining the Belgrade outfit and jumping to Greece and the G League, he has spent most of his career in his home country and joined Cholet before the 2021-22 season. Last season, he averaged 9.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists over 55 appearances between the FIBA Europe Cup and domestic competitions.
Returning players for the team coached by T.J. Parker are Nando De Colo, Youssoupha Fall, Charles Kahudi, Joffrey Lauvergne, David Lighty, Amine Noua, and Yves Pons alongside youngster Noam Yaacov following the loan assignment at Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem.
Olimpia Milan releases two players
Elsewhere in the EuroLeague pack, Deshaun Thomas officially exited EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. He averaged 4.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest in his eighth campaign in Europe’s premier club continental competition. Limited to ten appearances in Italy’s LBA UnipolSai Serie A, he put up 8.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
In addition, the Italian club parted ways with Davide Alviti. The 26-year-old forward tallied 1.2 points per game across continental and domestic competitions in his second and final season with the Milan outfit.
