As officially confirmed by the club, Dani Diez is staying with Baskonia as the two sides have reached an agreement to extend their contractual relationship for the 2023-24 season.
The 30-year-old forward will continue to represent Baskonia in his second campaign in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Diez played a total of 57 games with the team last season under the coaching of Joan Penarroya. He averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in the ACB League, shooting an impressive 45.7% from the three-point line.
In the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, he contributed 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 51% from beyond the arc.
Born in Madrid, Diez has accumulated over 300 games in the Endesa League, having previously played for Real Madrid, Gipuzkoa, Unicaja, Tenerife, and San Pablo Burgos.
